  1. Still banging my head on this one and no one in the uk seems to be able to do it 😪
  2. not sure if this is possible but someone suggested that the modules might need updating after the VO was changed ??
  3. i did change the FM_DEEMPHASIS the other day but made no difference how frustrating 😠, its strange because ive been contacted by someone else here in the uk via a uk bmw forum with the same problem on his jap bm and he never found the solution on the web and hes watching this thread with interest 😊
  4. thanks F10er for your input, I've removed 807 and 852 from the vo and added 812 and 853. I then performed a 'Write FA' to both the CAS and NRFM module, and then verified this had been added by reading the VO from both these modules. The attached snip displays them now showing when reading the VO. I then defaulted the CIC module by writing to the CIC with an empty .man file. Checking the CIC module settings with NFC dummy seems to show all the available options for language and radio country etc set to what I would expect. However whilst I still have access to radio frequencies up to 108 Mhz, the weak radio reception still seems to be an issue. I have also attached the .trc file I have extracted from the CIC module which shows the current settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FSW_PSW.TRC
  5. yes but i cant find where 😫, the video i followed on youtube the guy changed it in the ctune module but that was on the E60 and when i tried on my 2010 E90 i discovered i had no ctune module so im now stuck !, what directed me here was my cousin lives in NZ and he said you guys have lots of Jap import Bmw's and i discovered on here that its obviously do able but how ! 6. hi from the uk, sorry to bring this back to life but im in the same boat with my japanese e90 😥, i've managed to change the freg to 108mz but the reception is poor and cant find a solution and its driving me nuts !
  7. First of all is hi everybody and i hope this is posted in the right place , i'm loving my 2010 japanese imported e90 335i but cant seem to find the answer here in the uk so hopefully one of you nice guys might point me in the right direction, the radio was getting me down so i thought i would have a go at changing the radio region after watching youtube videos, i purchased ncs expert from good old ebay and after some time i got it to work and i've managed to change the radio region so it goes up to 108mz but the radio reception is poor on some stations, in the video it says i need to change the antenna region as well but i cant find it so does anybody know what module to find it in or how to change it ?? as i dont seem to have the c-tune module which is in the video, thanks and im looking forward to learning about my car 👍
