There is no codes it just says power reduced in drive train I pull over turn car off turn back on and it's fine

Hi I have a f10 535i has had full custom exhaust done previous owner took out the cat I made him put one back in for compliance but if you go up hills over certain revs or boost to hard it goes into limp mode is this because of the exhaust or another issue the car has done 102000 thousands kilometers
