It is interesting that FIAT is doing anything at all.
didnt they also come close to 'falling over' as such,a couple of years back?
I guess they made a big comeback in a very few years.
wish i could do that

Nothing wrong with running on 6 cylinders
Unless it's a V8.
Oh....
bad luck, sounds expensive.
oooo, nasty
jokes aside; isnt there a air valve on the back of the motor, this thing craps out on V8 apparently

I googled, Is it that place that do fridges and cooking equipment gaskets ??
I will be self tuning using MegaSquirt.
their based in Kumeu,west auckland
-
talk to the guys at gaskets unlimited.they make anything you want.
cost me 250$.
i used one of their creations (40% thicker over oem standard), installed a set of used headbolts.ran
1 bar,no problems.m30b35
dropping down to 8.something compression is low.really pissy off boost.
i'd be comfortable with running 9's cr and 15psi.
its all up to the tuners, afterall

dont bother with 'brent' for parts,he's expensive, call me
instead.he parks his treasures at my place.will do you a better deal

Dealer said they couldn't get the tools
Still after mats and the autoshift lever thing...
got a set of BBS wheels 17/8 with rubber it does have a et of 10 not 20 as requested
but will fit the e34 easily.do you want a gear lever? might have something.
replacing 'cose of the crack? or somrthing else im not seeing
-
8.8 compression isnt all that exciting,up will run cheap gas without
prolems.
if you want to do a grind or along those lines, have a m20 cam from
an 525 e34.$80

Agree that it's on a dyno, but that wheel spin chirp at the start is wired.
Screaming NA cars are so much more awesome than turbos in my opinion.
For example:

interesting article;
combustion technology has and is coming along way
one thing though'
another ///M first: Direct Injection. BMW has not offered Direct Injection on any naturally aspirated (non-turbo) motor in the US due to the sulfur content of US fuel and they do not plan on offering it on them in the future (as we have been told). So all of you on the fence about buying an ///M3 and fearing direct injection will be offered, can rest a little easier
whats the fear of direct injection?
i've only hear good things bout this injector setup.
anyone know different?

ed; spelling(again)

Lets just be glad that helen clark isnt in power, thats is the kind of legislation she would get on the band wagon for.
just wait, she'll be gunning for the UN's top job soon enough.
then we'll all be in trouble.(shiver)
ed,is this how we spell trouble? either way-in the shitter

Hi all,
just got my hands on these.
rims are in ok condition, front two have alittle curb rash, nothing too
dramatic. caps are bbs stamped.
off a e32,so will fit a e34 and e39,e39.
have a nylon locating bush at present.
tires are 235/45/17 and have 7mm tread on them, basically brand new.
dont have a clue what their worth, need to move them on
as i have no need for them.
also, if your keen PM me
cheers for the input
marty

they are reliable, with alittle regular servicing.
as for auto's,same units are also used in e32-730,735's.so yes plenty of
boxes about.all ZF's. i should know i have two on the shelf, and no home to send 'em to.
biggest issue i have with the model is the heater tape.not a biggie to change etc,
but needs doing

fun driving it from Brents to my place, thought a helmet was a good idea.
smart i did,lots of bugs.
peppy 320, got a top gear feel to it.especialy the dust, grass, seeds in the eyes, mouth, ears,
nose,hair and down your pants
maybe a bimmersport race/drift/watever day coming up????
-
hurray,i have oil pressure
now were ready to plumb up the rest of the bits.

Right so I finally figured out what I want, now I just need to find them (which I think is going to be impossible for the rears...)
front: 17x8 et20 running 235/45
rear: 17x9 et22 running 255/40
I'll send mag and turbo and mag and tyre direct an email... but i don't like my chances of finding the 17x9's with a 22 offset.
Thanks for the help guys, if anyone knows where I can find what I'm after, I'd be very grateful
i still have a very nice set of 17" for your car,if you dont like to price of the good guys at M & T

yep, dyno rollers writen all over it.
maybe even free spinning rollers-but wont go that far.
either way,8k+ rev limit sounds great
-
soo,new owner needs to know about electrics and mechanics.
if the computer/brains wont work 100% drop in a link.
if the clutch wont do the business, drop it off at Glens
-
Not sure if it has been montioned already. But Rob from Barvarian and Gavin from HiVelocity both have 3.5ltr powered E30's. Gavin is building his to go into the open class too. Rob's one is a fire breathing turbo road car.
Apparently you can just buy engine mounts for this conversion. Can not remember who makes them. But Gavin had some.
has robbie got that thing going yet??
hate to have the next turbo project on the road before robbie can get his transplant to fire

for 15k i'm sure you could sqeeze out 400hp plus,
with a alittle FI ofcourse.
no offence Apex,up to 150$ pre extra kw for a swap setup,
i'll stick to the sweet whistling sound of turbo goodness
