Im trying to locate the plastic valve pieces/unit that screw on the back end of the intake chamber and also conect to the rocker cover. im not sure what they are commonly called but the drivers side one is leaking and the car is running like sh&% ive tried a new gasket and o ring but still no result. ive anyone even thinks they maybe able to help please advise. thanks karl

i have most panels and all doors from a white e34 1991 doors have no card in them. i have some interior parts from e34 as well. and have e32 all panels and doors (blue) and a few other randome things such as altenator and fuel pump. if you need anything just ask and ill go look. or call me 021-570-750 Karl

heya mate, im doing all the same sort of leg work as you for my E34 before i start my build. i have a few mates that put Jzs into pretty much anything they make all the custom needs themselves etc as well as wire it all up, they may be keen on doing yours to. Maybe put our heads together for knowledge and ideas as they are keen as to do mine but want me to do leg work so all specs and mods are certable. check out the redline performance site for adjusties,they carry the BC range for BMWs not sure if they have for E28s but have for E34s so dont see why not. bushes are only available standard as far as ive found except sway bar bushes-nolothane. I agree with your choice to do engine last, i came to same conclusion. If you would be interested in bouncing ideas over a beer let me know, i to want to get as much info/opinions as possible. Karl

just trying to find out if anyone can help me with locating in the country or knows an importer that has any idea about the retrex bolt on kits? any advise would be appreciated to cheers

did you manage to sus out the rub problem? rolled the guards? how low is it? the only way to adjust anything on the e34s by desent amounts is to get adjusties. Redline performance has BC brand for 1800 approx they are the best off the shelf you can get, or you could get some bilstiens built for a small mint.

Im keen as but throw me down as a maybe. whats the story with passengers in uncaged car? just helmet and overalls to? I hope i can get my BCs in before then.(bloody shipping takes forever!)

can you get the six bolt med case for e34s? pref high 2's or any 3's ratio. if so what sort of cost?

Ive currently started work on my e34, but am searching for a little advise. Ive noticed a couple of guys on here going down the RB route...which quite frankly is a good one. However Ive always built cars for uniqueness, and as i have a mate putting in a RB25/30 into his e30 i chose not to. As is at the moment im getting (trying to)everything on the car sorted before the heart surgery, such as brakes and suspension. As well as hunting out cosmetics like body kit, paint ,HID lights etc etc. Now to business, im wanting to put in a 2jz-gte (obviously worked before installed) but have a few thoughts/questions i would like to see if anyone has knowledgeable opinion of. 1.)would just a new sump fabrication be worth it or should i just run dry sump? asking simply to do with cross member clearance and ease of install. 2.)I want to keep it looking like a "sleeper" so don't want a big(often pointless)inter-cooler mounted in the middle of a butchered body kit, so because there isn't a huge amount of open grill would the inter-cooler have any effect on the radiators performance? 3.) has the steering column and or brake booster ever posed a problem with a jap engine install? 4.) (may sound stupid) but does how far forward or back the engine is mounted effect the handling and or braking? is it easy to calculate engine weight distribution? 5.) where can i get a 4.1 ratio LSD???? (six bolt-med case) will try to post pics of my baby within the next week so you can see progress so far. Thanks

Yes i have found a few minimal details of a few guys in asia that have done it. I now realize how open the question is. i suppose to get more detailed its more. sump modification, will the steering rack on the right be an issue,how to hook up temp and rev readings to electronic dash etc etc. i will check out that RB conversion though.

Hi there, im new to the site and i am looking to expand my knowledge of bmws and share my own. i do have one big question though. and that is....does anyone know how hard it is to mount/install a 2jz-gte into a 1990 e34?
