Was looking through trademe, saw this lovely looking V12 engine. I know that a V12 E30 has been done before, if anyone has info on gearbox (manual) and another things i should know post em up

Should have invested in custom door pods for some nice 6.5" mids, some aftermarket 5"s for the standard speaker cups and some nice tweeters...

Esp. seeing as you wont get the full sound out of those 6x9's the pods look to small.

All im saying is good components and mids make a sound system :thumb:

Where did you go for WOF and how low is your car, if it is less than 100mm then youre screwed, but some suspension manufacturers offer warranties, if you only had it lowered last year they may fix your problem under warranty terms

Got the motorsport version in my car, works just as well as PS IMO

There was no "motorsport" version.

The manual rack has a lower ratio than power steering anyway.

E30 steering rack in general = sh*t

Pre f/l 325im 84-85 have a rack that is different to the other motorsport racks i have seen, seem to work better than standard non-PS... meh i dunno

If i am correct and i think i am his gearbox has a small crack on the bellhousing, and no im pretty sure the pedal box went with his car when it got sold.

Andrew, you are too right, if your chassis rail is bent doesnt that affect WOF Requirments?

Diff I find is best for trolley jack, otherwise i have to use a scissor jack, car is to low for standard jack...
