I'd be really interested in how you go with your WAR chip. I have one on my e30 as well, along with the MAF conversion. I found it to be generally pretty good. Power gains on WOT were a bit dissapointing as it was a standard car other than a K&N panel filter, but i think it went from maybe 105kw at the wheels to about 107kw. The best gains on WOT were in the mid range and they were about +5kw. Generally I found the M20 to be pretty dull to changes though. I could move the timing and fuel alot both ways and it would only change the power slightly. I'm no professional tuner however. I just had access to a dyno and did it myself. The base tunes Miller give you are pretty good and really only need fine tuning. Oh yea and remember you MUST use Win XP with it. I had all sorts of troubles trying to use anything else, even virtual XP. Also check your TPS with a multimeter both when its running and just with the key on. I spent along time wondering why i was making changes to the WOT map and nothing was happening. Apparently its a very common issue that becomes more noticable with the new MAF. Hope those things are of some help anyway, I got a little frustrated with mine initially.

Yea i have good springs (i think). They are just as hard as id want to go on the street, but id like more body control. How much did you guys pay approximately for your whitline bars?

I'm thinking of buying some new sway bars for my e30 and from what i can tell, Bimmerworlds own kit Link appears like the best for price and quality. Im pretty set on a 22mm/19mm setup, and theirs looks like the nicest kit using those size bars. Has anyone got their kit? I'd be interested to know if its as good as it looks in terms of quality. H&R's bars look the most professional to me, but are soo much more expensive than competitors. In terms of quality, what have other people found from other kits? Just going from pictures, it looks like some(Ireland engineering for example) are a bit rough and use average quality components. Cheers

Hi guys, I'm after any m20 cylinder head in any condition just for the purpose of mocking up a set of exhuast headers. Ideally something cheap would be good. Thanks

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I'm glad I finally got around to posting up something. Yea it appears to be making good power, although I would say (as most of you probably already know) all dynos are different and Harman Motors didn't have any other records of other e30s to compare against. They had done one e36 325i recently and that put out 116KW ATW if thats any comparison. Heres the dyno graph anyway for interests sake, abeit a very badly scanned one. The red line is the first run and the blue line shows after running an 'Inter-Ject' injector cleaner through the fuel system. Not a very impressive gain haha but it did idle a little smoother afterwards. Oh and don't take any notice of the torque figures. I realise they are extremely high. I think it something to do with it being difficult to accurate measure torque on rolling road dynos. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hi all, I've been lurking around the forum for quite some time now and finally got myself a nice little e30 after looking at a bunch of e30s and e36s. It's a 1991 325i SE manual with currently 157,000ks. Im super stoked with it-by far the best car i've ever owned So far I've had it on the dyno for a base figure (106KW ATW) and added a K&N filter + some M3 control arm bushes Plans are: -Fitting my LSD in the factory diff (3.64 ratio) thats had some special mods thanks to Kane Barrie -Miller WAR chip and MAF are on the way from Canada -A set of Wayne's headers I've yet to fit -Maybe a cam from Ireland Engineering or similar? -Get a nice suspension set up (koni or bilstein) Thanks for looking. I'd be keen to hear from anyone who has used the Miller Performance stuff before and their results
