Genuine BMW Performance Suspension Kit E90 E92
vonripsnorter replied to vonripsnorter's topic in For Sale
Hi, We have just checked the Factory Brochure & its not very specific ( which is unlike BMW ) & says Quote “lowers the suspension by up to 25mm depending on the model†The Motor sport suspension is 15mm lower than standard , so it would be safe to say the performance version will be lower than this again but no more that 25mm from standard Cheers -

Yes , there was a story about a huge vault but no, they are all cut to order! Order a key from BMW NZ or any of its dealers & Most of the keys now for the NZ market are cut in Malaysia , not Germany Just sold 8 VW keys to one customer last week They too , aren't as expensive as has been alluded on here they were for mid 2000’s Passat's & Golfs & ranged from $150.00 to approx. $350 max for full remote keys All Genuine parts from VW Germany If you send me the details of the Ford Key, I can certainly inquire with our German suppliers but cant promise any thing there Cheers Paul

OEM & Genuine are one & the same, just come in diffrent box's & depending on where you get them , can be quite a bit cheaper. Most of the genuine pads are textar brand just not in a Textar box

Hi guys, The beauty of the Meyle ball joints is not only are they an improvement on the genuine , They're also able to be fitted "with out" the use of special tools unlike the originals! They still need to be pressed in but every workshop will have one of these. Meyle designed them like this on purpose so they could be fitted without the use of special tools

Hi, the best BMW Mechanic left the above mentioned dealership & was called in breifly to look at your car a few days ago, I would get back incontact with him, very clever chap & would know more about setting up your car than whom are left there.

I had one of these Audi 80's many years ago & had it for years too & it was an incredably reliable car with absolutely no issues what so ever & I sold it to a guy (who has a Mazda sp20) whom also had it for 5 years after me & told me it turned out to be the most reliable car he had ever owned as he too, had no issues at all until his son wrote it off in an accident!! The biggist Achilles heal with this model can be the Auto trans as the seal between the diff & trans can leak causing the two oils to mix

Lots of interesting veiw points here & always a subject with many differing ideas but all welcome! As time has gone on, this car has done less & less mileage & is averaging around 1500km a year now!! Sorry, i didnt take any pictures of this car & it lives 300 km from here It is a two door!! The other car I have my foot in the door with is another one owner Golf GTi 16V MK2 done 100,000 but not as well looked after but very tidy none the less........this is another car with many opinions on Value
