    central locking

It was the clcu unit that was originaly replaced, but will get the alarm now sounds like the best advice and ads value at the same time. Thanks all for the great advice.
  2. This is the second time in about 3-4 years that my central locking stopped working, first time they put a new central locking computer thingy in (charged me about $1000) but not prepared to pay that again! Why would it stop working again? I can lock/unlock the doors individualy, the car is an 1988 325i 4 door, Any suggestions/help? thanks
  3. Spent way too much money on the car to sell it for $3,000, will keep it for another couple of years and than upgrade not sure to what but want something made after 1996 maybe a 323 or a nice 318is. prices should be reasonable by next winter, dropped a lot in the last year when i started looking at upgrading.
  4. thanks for the response. not worth selling if thats all i get, still a great drive so will hang on to it. Thanks again
