yeah you can't do much with $200 and a bmw considering my clock sensor just cost me $517 plus gst from jerry clayton bmw and ill tell ya right now did'nt improve performance in any respect haha, Got rid of the srs light tho

yeah i've also had this problem with my 323i M-sport, found that even 96 unleaded is not doing the trick so i ran an injection cleaner with bp's 98 octane and from there on out ran strictly 98 and have not had the problem since, My car used to stall in drive for no reason but yep 98 has fixed my problems

well finally concluded the problem a clock spring in the drivers airbag has caused the srs light to stay on all fixed now for an unreasonable bmw part price but hey gota do what you gota do thanks all that have given input over this dilema

Hi Guys n gals, I have a 97 323i M-sport coupe and was wondering peoples opinion on fitting a 150hp nos kit does anyone have any experience in this area? will the motor deal with it, good points bad points? etc... thanks

well took the car in for a diagnostic test today got a result that told me theres a fault in the firing circuit of the srs? Great that could mean alot of things spring sensor in the steering wheel or seatbelt sensors? does any one know any common issues that would keep the srs light consistantly on? thanks P.s no fault code was given either grrrrrr

Nah its a hexagonal plastic bolt that attaches to the whole filter housing lid, And yes i agree that the 36mm socket and 3qaurt inch rachet will probably be expensive but hey, when you have limited options what can ya do i guess. thanks for your input all.

well i guess anything is possible with bmw a car that truely has a mind of its own, but it came on the same time i blew the fuse so im guessing thats the problem but yeah ill have to take it to a sparky and see thanks will keep you posted on the outcome

Hi guys n gals, in an unsuccesful attempt to replace an oil filter in my 97 e36 i found there was a large bolt looking thing on the oil filter housing id guess maybe a 36-38 mm bolt my damn sockets dont get that big are there any specific tools that can be used to remove the cover?? thanks

hi all the other day well trying to fit the fusy uniden gps9000 radar detector into the old bimmer blew a fuse, Unfortunately now i have a airbag light that stays on consistantly any easy methods of getting rid of the problem?? thanks P.s it's an e36 m323i coupe
