Hi. I would like a price on a brand new bearing. I am trying to shake the shake out of my car. I have play in the front L/H wheel. Have tightened the bearing, but still there. Process of elimination (elimination of $$$) is the only way I know how, with this one??

Thanks kiwi535. I assumed immediately it would be a leak in the reservoir. I will check the leak out more thoroughly - including plugs etc.......This site is priceless

Hi. My water reservoir (for windscreen washers) has a major leak. I am after a good second hand one or new if need be. Cheers in advance.

I have the shudder problem as well. I haven't checked that the wheels aren't buckled (but will) as I found a bit of play in the r/h front wheel, which may be a loose bearing.....? I suppose a buckled wheel could even cause the bearing to loosen? Hmmmm....I Hope we both find the solution soon as it is most annoying.

Have found the r/h front wheel to have some play and will be putting into shop for closer inspection when I get a chance......till next time..these things are a bit harder to deal with when in remote places in NZ..but life is good!

Thanks mate. Will take these options (so I can talk the talk) to my mate (mechanic) in Dunedin. I am going to get to the bottom of this. As said, I am on a roadie to Dunedin from Kingston tomorrow for 2 days. I will be back online with any interesting developments.

Well this could be worth checking.... I have owned it now for over a month and it has been my daily. The problem has not gotten worse. I am on a trip with it to dunedin in a couple of days and will be analysing on different roads. Will post anything new, if found. Meantime I am very interested in peoples opinions, e.g similar experiences or solutions. Cheers.

Hi. I have an 93' e36 325i Coupe. The tyres are in good condition and I had them balanced recently. I thought this would solve the problem. I commute to Queenstown everyday from Kingston. The shuddering is on some corners at speeds mostly above (but not limited to) 70kph. I drive around this problem at present, as best I can by regulating my speeds and my lines, but even on straights starting at 100kph it will shudder. I have driven through to 120kph where it seems to lesson. It is not an extremely aggressive shudder but very annoying. Thanks in advance for any opinions on this....

Gidday mate! Welcome to NZ. I am new to the site as well. In fact I did have a profile a few years ago, but since I sold the E36 323i (should never have) for a 79 Holden Kingswood (Hmmmm!!!) there was not such a need for 'Bimmer Company'. Recently I was sniffing around Turners (online), probably the same time as you. Nice looking Coupe - by the way! But in the end I bought a 325i Coupe off TradeMe. Has a few more clicks, 126000 miles (UK import) or 200000kms. I figure it will do twice that before I sell or dispose of it? This site is a gold mine for good vibes and knowledge base. I only have a crap photo of mine at the moment, but hey it still looks pretty and sweeeeeet!! Anyway me and my lady are flying up to Christchurch in a couple of weeks (ZQN-CHC $29.00 O/W) and am looking forward to a nice cruise back home to Otago. Rock on.

Hi. I look forward to more excellent info and service from other members and providers to bimmersport. I used to own a 96' 323i and now my new P&J is a 93' 325i coupe. Very excited.....I am still to pick her up and drive her back down to Otago with me lady. Cheers!
