  1. wow, didnt realise this was available for the E46! and Dynavin is from Taiwan... (where i'm originally from). Looks like an awesome unit, and it should make its way on to my E46 very soon too! I am gona see what kind of prices I can get from Taiwan as I have family there, I also have the IGO 8.3 NZ maps if anyone needs it, Aug 2010 update, with POIs, speed cams etc. also got maps for the rest of the world too. haha. THanks to M-spec for this Dynavin info! luckily i didnt just go and get a normal aftermarket headunit for my E46.
  2. Richiz

    BMW kits.

what E46 front bumper can you get? Interested in the E46M compact bumper or ACS lip kit. Thanks.
  3. I second that, used precision autowerk twice and they are the Best in auckland. Ask for a tour around their workshop if your there. You would be amazed!!!
  4. Yes, LSD would come later on down the track, probably get a short shifter kit first, any recommendations?
  5. wont work with 2degree or Telecom, Vodafone only for these GPS trackers. Best option would be using Vodafone's Best Mate with your tracker's sim card. Call/text free for as much as you'd like meaning you can track it all the time just for fun. If your not near a computer, you can also use its GPRS/WAP function, to send you a real address instead of the usual GPS longitude and latitude co-ordinates that you'll need Google earth to find the street address. Texting Address+password will give you a real address text back to your phone, very cool feature, however it uses some internet data on the sim. (also, you can call the tracker and listen in on your car via the microphone on the tracker!)
  6. Also, just checked my tyres, The specs on the side of tyre: Treadwear: 180 Traction: A 275/40/R18 99W rated. Hope that helps.
  7. They wear much less compared to the Eagle F1s on the track, I swear i've seen small chunks of Eagle F1 rubber being ripped off the grooves/tread after a few laps in the 350Z, The Re-11s has had 1 trackday at Hampton downs, and have held up really well, its a tougher compound and grips better.. I have 275-40-18s on my Z rears. These Re-11s would be perfect for the summer months coming up in my opinion, only downside is the Price and availability with sizing...
  8. I'm running Bridgestone Re-11s on my 350Z at the moment, awesome tyres, way way way better than Goodyear F1 GSD3s that I had previously. Very good on trackdays, dry traction is awesome, however wet traction was better with F1 GSD3s. These are the top of range road tyres by Bridgestone and can been seen used on Best Motoring tests/touges. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them!
  9. Hehe, yeah. I'm sure the mod bug will bite with this compact.... the problem is sourcing the parts, these compacts are rare, and werent introduced to USA either, Guess I'll have to look in UK Ebay for parts. Check out these pics for AC Schnitzer parts for compact. http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/bmw-cars/pro...ompact/gallery/
  10. Mint car bro.... haha, now we have 3x BMW compacts in the family!
