    Sold.

All plastic with original mounting brackets - lower front lip has been repaired at some stage. Other than that rest of the kit is in good condition, one of the door mouldings has a small and easily repaired gougle in it.

Simple - this is the first time this vehicle has been advertised
  3. for 10k? something makes me cringe about a 4cyl jap engine conversion, far be it from me to tell you whats right and wrong but thats just my opinion.. besides - I found a the holy grail of spare parts tucked in behind a truck workshop. looks very decieving from the roadside but as you walk down the drive around the corner is a massive factory sized warehouse full of German parts and wrecked/wrecking cars its so awesome pick your parts and he happy to haggle over price.. I asked about getting a half cut, planning an m50 conversion for my e30 325i he said he had done quite a few of them before and could do the whole thing for 8k drive in drive out! Had I not been planning on something alittle more evil (m50 turbo), or being so handy with conversions myself I probably would have said yes where do I pay! German Wrecking Co. http://www.germanwrecking.com - yes I know its in brisbane, thats where ive been working & living for the passed 9 months, moving back this month to finish off my e30 with a nice collection of parts plus a decent amount of savings to spend on it
  4. most excellent, thanks alot Im sure I'll be able to put something together now *evil laugh*
  5. If you could get one that would be awesome, just of pipe route and as much of the part as you can, so I can fabricate something, Does it go between the fan/belts or somewhere else? I think I owe you a beer after this is sorted
  6. its the one with the metal pipe, because the lower hose on my radiator (bottom hose) has to run to the right side (viewed from drivers seat)
  7. I dont have the pipe that goes through the middle, thats where my problem is Im thinking :banghead: so Im having to either fabricate something or route the hose differently. I really hate people that do half ass jobs, originally the hose that was going to the bottom of the radiator was going over the top of the engine (next to the waterpump hose) Ive got a hose that will fit but it will foul on the fan or rub on the belts, still waiting on JCBmw to return my emails >_<
  8. Can somebody either link or post a photo of the pipe routing for the lower radiator hose setup, the way it was originally setup is incorrect I have replaced the top hose and the thermostat to waterpump hose, but am having trouble working out where the lower hose is supposed to go my manual isnt much use >_< and I havent had much luck on google!

    M20 2.5

hey gus, cool as can you recommend somewhere I can get a full set of new hoses? repco are useless!

    M20 2.5

which hoses have you got and would you sell the hoses seperately? It seems repco are incapable of finding the correct hoses and the wreckers around here are absolutely crap!
  11. ahh most excellent, me and a few mates thought that was the routine we managed to get it off lastnight, thanks for the advice in regards to reinstalling it, will save alot of headaches
  12. Hi Guys, just having a bit of a tidy up under the hood of my car, its a 1988 325i (facelift) Im trying to take off the intake manifold, theres a return/feed pipe from the bottom of the manifold that goes into the block, I was wondering how I go about removing it? Whether I have to actually remove the pipe before removing the manifold or whether there is some other way of doing it? Cheers in advance for your help

    My 325i

Ive just started on it, removed all the hosing and the radiator and noticed there are several cables unplugged one being the auxilary fan and another being something else... going to attack all the sensors and wiring, mainly just give them a good tidy up my next mission is to find some hoses for it, the radiator is pretty clean and it looks like the coolant came out the cap... god knows how! a few of the hoses are alittle soft but will last alittle longer, im just going to replace the lot of them for peace of mind, the water pump and thermostat seem fine also. So if anyone can point me to a brand new hose kit or a decent condition second hand set that would be lovely! otherwise I will have a hunt around and see what I can improvise with

thats not what I wanted to hear :banghead: ..Im going to tidy up all the wiring and hoses over the next few days then work out where to go from there.. first things first a new set of hosing some of them are rather soft and Id like to get rid of the hose with the hori as join in it.

I havent done any checks, since I got the car home, will have a look around tomorrow. And if there is any sign of damage im definately going to be making them claim insurance.. I mean COME ON.. road testing as soon as I dropped it off, the car has no wof, and 4x bald tyres (for a wheel alignment, that wasnt done because the car was too low).. you have got to be kidding me. Especially when I asked whether he looked at the temp reading, once he noticed the car was "leaking water".. his reply was "umm no"

    My 325i

yeah deep dish would be lovely, have alittle demon on my hands at the moment though I dropped the car off to have the tyres I bought on the weekend fitted and have an alignement done.. as it would seem A: they couldnt do the alignment because their setup wouldnt work because it was too low. thats fine I can goto another shop.. "OH and there seems to be water leaking from somewhere" to which my reply was did you check the temperature??.. "umm no" they have managed to overheat it and remove all the water from the radiator whilst "road testing" I really hope theres no major damage done, I filled it up and bled it then drove it 100m down the road to my house, sounded fine didnt overheat as it was hardly on long enough to have it warm up.. apon further inspection it seems to have a noticeble tap, which I really hope is just me being over sensitive There is something I would like to know though.. does my radiator/plumbing look like a standard issue and Im sure the plumbing is incorrect!

    My 325i

actually no, I didnt put a bolt in it..it only had one screw, and it wasnt even a plate screw someone just rangi'd it and forced a bigger screw into the whole.. the plate has been straightened up and is still fixed in place with one screw as it was...

wheels are spares I had sitting in the garage, I dont like them either but they will do for now until I find something alittle more suitable the car came with no wheels, it supposedly had 19" chrome mags on it, they stole the wheels, exhaust and the personalised plates I think thats where the plate bolts went :banghead: bit of a pitty for the previous owner too, pulled the engine apart to have alook and its just been rebuilt can see all the machining marks my first bimmer and im loving it 5spd manual + lsd and a few other nice 'go-fast' bits and peices previous rides: -1972 Mercedes Benz 280s (converted to 350) :pimp: looked stock as, although the grumble did give something away -1992 Lancer gsr - dont shoot!! this country is full of jap cars!
