Those wheels are sweet - i was looking at something from hyper tyres which was very similar. I have some more serious issues to sort out with the car before the wheels, though Like the fact the reverse lights dont work =\
-
Yah I dont like the wheels at all...looks kinda stupid without emblems in them and they are curbed real bad. Dunno what would look good on that - definately dont want chromes.
-
Yeah massive project, but the body + engine is immaculate - nothing wrong at all. Thats how I got it in reguards to the interior - pretty horrible. Looks like some nut tried to do the interior themselves. We have already replaced the pannels on the door with some off a 318i. We also have the front lip to put on - but we have a custom body kit on order from the States so no rush on that. And yeah when I got it the plates were changed from a weird a$$ personalized one. Just need to find more stock stuff for the interior!

Lol the only crap part about the wiring is the back where all the slack is, we still need to build a box that fits in the back, and get a second 12" And I think the toolbox was in front of the sub when it was going hard - the thing is only a month old.
-
Gallery There is a complete gallery of the car. Needs heaps of love, but should turn out very nice. We are just fitting some new interior pannels as we speak.

Well, finally took a complete set of photos of the car today - well, about 15 mins ago. It needs alot of work. We have already put an aftermarket sound system in the car ourselves, but a car without sound is a car in need. Here is a pic of the car from the outside, ill have a complete set of pictures on my website soon.

Had a little incident while the glovebox was out of the car and now need a new one. I still have the panel that goes over all the wiring coming from the centre console on the right, but need the one to go above the glove box and on the left above the speaker there. (well it looks like one went there?) I will still take parts seperately if you dont have all of it.

Yah those are sweet - Im sourcing a more darker looking version of those from a place in the states - they're only $88US if you buy them direct, P&P Isnt that much

Just scored a nice aftermarket spoiler for my e30, but it only came primed. Do any of you know where to find the 'BMW White' or is there another white that is the same?
-
Lol I suppose I better explain better... There are 3 of us that own the car, so 3x the salary = 3 times cheaper... But its probably the latter lol I called the number someone suggested above, and will probably organise something with them. Thanks for the advice guys
-
If its just the price thats wrong with them I really dont mind - unless you mean more by 'raped' then I dont see anything wrong with it?
-
Well I can afford it and I would rather take it to bmw. For $650 they are going to do a complete checkup and workthough of the car, and connect my new cluster correctly and fix a few issues with my tail lights and other random electrical issues. And a heap of other stuff.
-
Lol yeah i was rushing that one, let me explain better: We bought another ENTIRE cluster - The whole thing. We got it switched over but they asian installing it tried to explain something about a yellow wire not being connected or something I couldnt quite understand. On top of the dash, to the right, there are holes and a mark where an external tacho was installed - which meant they probably modified the wire from the ECU that would have controlled the tacho in the Cluster. We'll probably take it down to Jerry Clayton and get it sorted by the pro's.
-
Thats what we did - a compete cluster. But there are holes in the dash from where what used to be a tacho...so when we plug in the plugs from the old cluster everything but the tacho works.
-
right. I might check it out myself and see where wires go and try figure it out myself. It looks like there are screw holes on the dash anyways from where a rev-meter use to be, so it may have been modified by a previous owner

I've got a manual E30 with an Instrument Cluster that has a clock where the rev-meter normally would be and i would rather have a rev-meter there. Trying to keep the dash original BMW i didnt want to put some big aftermarket gauge on top, so i bought a whole cluster off trademe that does have a rev-meter in it. The guy installed it for me, but he said that there was no wires coming up for the rev-meter. (I think he said he knew what to do, but didnt want to do it because he might break the electrics...) Even though the car came with no rev-meter in the cluster, should there still be wires coming up for the option? Is it a simple procedure to get some wires up there to get it going? Although I would much rather take it somewhere to get it done properly.. Any links to articles on Instrument Clusters for E30 would be great too. Thanks.
