Not sure - be finding out when I see if I can just get the font and back...dunno about eyelids...I think they ruin the look of the E30 style

Thanks heaps guys - this is the stuff I need.I'll ask if the engine is a f/l or not - currently im running a f/l manual 1.6...but the one Im looking at is one out of a a 325 manual...i just need a list of parts and I can approch the guy about buying it all as one big deal. Or alternativly I could get the stuff off Brent - i think he still has the 525 with all the goodies needed for a conversion - but as i understand its more work using 525 parts?

Its quite funny - I thought the same thing, so I would probably stay with my Mtech1 skirts that look pretty sweet. And its from Carshine.com.au - they say they dont ship to NZ but ill just get it purchased by our australian office and get them to ship it here for me. Depending if they have them in stock, might be looking at a set by the end of next week

Im getting tired of looking around for body kits and just want to get it sorted. Car shine do these kits, called "BREYTON STYLING E30 '88-'91" and for $1300 w/o rear wing, thats pretty good.

I found an engine...and gearbox...from a 325 manual. Pretty good stuff - worth using for a conversion. I know i need a list of other things, but I need to know what these are...and I need a mechanic to do it...but no idea where to look. Anyone know of a good place...or need a pet project that would earn you some $$? No point getting the gear without a way to get it done!

DAMN YOU!!!!111111 I paid that much for my 316 - that car is mint! EDIT: No wait, I paid MORE!

I'm thinking about getting a 12-CD Stacker off trademe. The headunit I have has a cd player that supports wma and mp3. Would the CD Stacker also support the formats because the headunit does? Or does the stacker use its own format reading? Headunit: DEH-P6750MP Stacker: Pioneer CDX-P2000

Im organising my own shipping - then I know im not getting ripped a new one
-
Thats by sea, and takes 6 - 12 weeks and its US$60
-
Awesome man, thanks for the info.Im considering bringing a few of these into the country for pretty cheap - combined shipping is alot cheaper. Would anyone else be interested in one of these?
-
I was talking about the axles - The main driveshaft is what bolts to the input flange. The one in the pic has four holes on the flange which is same as e30, but whether they are the same spacing????I wouldn't bother with that one - find one locally. Ahh right. The reason I was looking on Ebay is because that was $225US which is $390NZ and is about $60 shipping - which is still almost $400 cheaper than the ones that were on trademe.
-
This is what I was looking at. Maybe the guy doesnt know what hes talking about? There are a few other ones on Ebay - ill take another look later. Thanks for the info man
-
Hmm ok - i'll be getting the driveshaft replaced anyway, so i suppose it would also depend on the driveshaft. Maybe I should be looking for a LSD from a 525 which is what im getting an engine from most probably anyway?Man I know so little ><
-
A LSD 3.25 From a 1987 633i - its done 60k miles. Would this work in my E30? Does it matter what type of engine I am getting to what type of diff I need? Im looking at a 2.5L engine but not sure which series yet. If that wont work or isnt ideal, what should I be looking for in a LSD?

C'Mon, you know you want a laptop - I want an engine!

Hey Guys, Selling off one of my notebooks that I dont use anymore - You can see it on Trademe here Im willing to sell it to someone from bimmer for $1400 - You cant get the M5N in the shop anymore, but were still quite expensive - the current equivelnt is still over $2k. If you want it let me know and ill cancel the auction - selling for Car Parts!

My wheels are nice, but are in horrible condition. Its not really the curbing, its the blemishes in the metal - like stains in the shine that just dont come out. I've tried every type of wheel cleaner and self repair liquid which just doesnt do it. Looking for a place that can clean them up I wouldnt mind doing it myself if someone has done this before and could provide a little know-how? Ideally I want a finish like these. Thanks

Thought that might be the case - the screen weighs 50KG so I dont think it'll work lol. Thanks, though.Saw the larger version of that table in freedom furnature when I was geting my lounge suite - pretty nice stuff.
-
Would be pretty keen if the screen shelf could hold a 21" CRT old screen? What weight can it hold?

Woot 316i I still need to figure out how to hook up my tacho + economy thing

Since my last offer for a 2.5L engine fell though, as the compression on the chambers were completly crap, im looking for another engine. I would prefer a 325 engine, as it would fit better and require less parts - but i suppose as long as everything can be provided, it wouldnt matter. Since my 316 manual gearbox isnt compatable with a 2.5 i'm also looking for a manual that will fit. Basically, if I cant find a manual box, im not converting. I cant stand autos. I also need rear disk breaks (I have drums), a new Diff, and I think a new driveshaft. I know from my previous post that some of you have exactly what i need If you have any of these parts can you pm me with the part description and your price. I would consider purchasing a wreck, or likewise. Thanks.

Thats mint - is it legal though? Its like $400+ from Plates.co.nz if you wanted something done there...
