    Euro m325i has a b25 for sale with his touring,

    My good mate bryce (LOWBMW) is able to swap his car plus 1k for engine because the guy wont sell engine without car, So maybe organise with him a price for engine so he can swap.

    You both win,

    Then you can convert your car to a 2.5

    Pretty straight foward, my 325i is running a getrag 240 320i 5spd from my other e30

    You wont regret getting a b25 :D

    Totally irralevant but my grandfather has a 2006 e90 bmw 330d with 49k km on clock. full service history, sports leather interior, 6 speed tiptonic turbo etc etc.

    They are a dream to drive and cost less than 100 bucks to fill, he got from north shore auckland to christchurch on a tank.

    Awesome cars and nice to look at,

    Just dont forget its not petrol! :P

    Battery light use to turn off once engine started

    but then lately its been staying on even when i drove it (its been garaged for 2weeks but i took it for one drive) the light eventually turned off after i reved it a few times.

    I will check the belt this weekend but i passed a wof on a saturday and the problem happened the day after on a sunday.

    Will check charge when im home, im just pretty sure that my battery isnt getting charged so thats why im assuming it could be a faulty alternator or something to do with it.

    Can take it to hell bm next week but i just wanted to try identify the problem.

    The gauges stopped working whilst driving on the motorway :/

    My car was fine then all of a sudden it lost temp,rev and fuel gauges along with service lights and check lights incl handbrake and oil sensor

    Speedo and odo work

    Heating and cooling stopped

    All thats left when i turn on is the battery light and takes a while to turn over and it died when i tried to move it with the battery light remaining on,

    Battery is a heavy duty century which i picked up at cost price but is only 2 years old.

    Does this mean my alternator is stuffed?

    Have been quoted $120 to install a new one

    Hey guys,

    I was driving my bimmer along the motorway when all of a sudden my fuel gauge, temp gauge and rev counter all dropped to nothing, Also my heating system also stopped aswell.

    Along with my handbrake light and oil light and service inspection lights i later noticed.

    My engine had recently been creeping up on the heat so i would just simply crank the heater to bring level back to normal and so now i cant really bleed my car well, i got it jacked up on the coolant side to make the resivor the highest point but im just afraid i may overheat while driving it back home.

    Just had a whole lot of work done on her to get a new wof last week and so now im going to have to bring her back to hell bm

    If anyone could maybe help me know if they have heard of this happening id be very appreciative, My fuses seem fine, its weird that my speedo and odo still work fine though,

    My obc seems to still be in good working order,

    Cons: 

    Paint is not perfect, worst being the front drivers side quaterpanel with a decent amount of clear coat missing, not too noticeable

    WOF can be easily sorted, just little things like: Drivebelts, couple of light bulbs, replace steering wheel to factory because horn does not work etc. 

    Will provide check sheet 

    Central locking works but Drivers door cant unlock car, it can lock it though. Unlock from boot. 

    Tiny bit of rust on passenger door, size of a 20c piece, is just a bubble and isnt spreading

    5k for my 325i Manual

    LSD, Leather recaro interior, Lowered on 17s new tyres from Febuary, clutch was rebuilt october 2010 with 3 months use till i converted to manual in april. 210km, smiley lights, sunroof, brand new disc rotors and pads, brand new control arms, tints done april, dolphingrey mettallic.

    Has no wof atm though :/ wont be much to fix it, getting quote from sam at hell bm

    Hey guys,

    I have a 1989 325i auto, which lastnight unfortunatly had the gearbox seize up. looking to buy getrag260 5spd and clutch conversion kit if any available, have talked to Sam at Hellbm but unsure if ty have any in stock. If anyone has any ideas please let me know :)

    5spd will complete my car with my Limited Slip Differential etc.. :D
