I weighed mine last year I cant remember if I had a passenger seat or not at the time. I know I had nothing in the trunk. With a full tank of gas and me my car weighed in at 1172kgs

Is it really RWD?

I am so glad I dont have to shop for insurance here. Down side is unless I have my car appraised I would get what they offer and would have to hire a third party to argue for me on my cars value. As my car sits I would probably get around the $4000 range if I was to get it written off. I recently had my car appraised at just over 11k with damage after a really bad hail storm had dented the hood, trunk and roof. My insurance company was ready to write my car off until I presented them with the appraisal papers saying what my car was worth. I pay $86 a month to plate my car with a $700 deductible. If I would like a lower deductible I would have to pay an extra $250 a year which would lower it to a $50 deductible. My insurance covers everything that could possibly happen to it including all the contents of the car.

I figured maybe it was just a trim badge on NZ cars if they had the sport package. Over here we only had 318i/is and 325i/is

Looks like a very good turn out. I will have to try and dig up photos of the last euro meet we had. Just one question why does just about every e30 have a m/// badge in the front grill?
-
Just about everything I had to search for. The Borbets were probably the hardest to obtain item next to the exhaust.

You will love your e39. I wish I never got rid of mine but cant really control other drivers.

Just about any machine or wheel shop should be able to do it or at least point you to the place that will. As for cost it shouldnt cost you that much. Even if they are larger hub size just switch to lug studs and use standard lug nuts. It will then switch your wheels to lug centric vs hub centric.

Thanks. What parts are you asking about?

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan right in the middle of the prairies.

Thanks guys I guess I should at least post pictures of how the car sits after the wheels. P.S these pictures were taken when I was getting my Recaros recovered. Also had the front and side markers tinted and passenger side window trim replaced.

Thanks sad thing is these wheels are pretty rare here in Canada I ended up getting them from Germany. I didn't like the stock finish so I sent them and got them refinished and color matched to a set of gram light 57c's I had laying around. You can see that I also got the small lip removed when they refinished them.

Thanks they are 16x9 et15 all around with 3mm spacers front and back. And for those wondering here is my build page for what is all done so far to the one http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....mp;#entry395417

I bought this car Feb '09 and have done a bit of work to it since I bought it and this is what I started with The car is a '90 325i bone stock when I first bought it with 152k on the odo with a 5spd. Came with brand new winter tires on stock bottle caps and bald summers on factory "is" weaves. The stock set up lasted me ummmmm all of maybe 3 weeks. Then number 4 intake rocker decided that it didn't like the head and wanted a new home. So I ended up buying a new head and higher duration cam . I would have just replaced the rocker but the cam was badly damaged. So once I had it back on the road running I was back to the modding game. I originally planed to run a set of axis wheels but soon after I ordered them axis quit making them and I was put on a 7 month waiting list and there was no guaranty of me even getting them so I canceled them and put on my search for something new. I found the sportmax 501 for cheap with tires and decided to run them for the summer til I found something different. Started off with buying a whole rear subframe from a 325is for the factory 4.10 LSD but soon found out it was replaced with a fresh rebuilt 3.73 LSD which I was just as happy with. Then came factory Recaro's from a e21, Suspension technique springs for 2.5 inch drop, Bilstein Sport shocks, rebuilt 885 head with high duration cam, catback Remus exhaust, IS front lip, ellipsoids, complete turner motorsport brake upgrade with ate super blue fluid and stainless steel brake lines, Nardi Deep corn wheel and some factory e90 drop hats to lower the front another 15mm. ^^^ those pics are before I installed the e90 top hats. I then I replaced the fog lights and they lasted maybe a month before they both decided to eat a rock on a road trip. Meh it happens just means am on the search for 2 more sets (other e30 needs a set too) I soon got bored of the sportmaxx wheels and bought a set of konig heliums......not so cool cause they ended up having pretty much the same offset as my bottlecaps but I knew they were only temp and were only gonna be on the car til I parked it for the winter in a months time. Then I got bored over the winter and thought I needed to add more bling so I bought a mint set of Borbet Type A's but they didnt have enough bling for me so I sent them off to get completely refinished and I ended up with I am sure there is more I am missing like the Takata harness, BBS RM's, Custom steel wheels, complete stereo upgrade. I can't remember too much else replaced a bunch of little things that were broken. Wont have picture of the BBS RM's due to they are getting refinished again for the other e30.

I came across this site when I was researching SR20DET swaps. Its always nice to see other BMW's from around the world so I think I will stay. I currently have two e30's both are 1990 325i's both 5spds, both coupes. The only difference between the two are one has sport seats, power sunroof, had an airbag and not really stock anymore. The other one is well bone stock with heated comfort seats, manual sunroof and just has a bunch of parts waiting for it come spring. So I will give you pictures of my Calypsorot-metallic the non stock one. I will post a build thread of this car in a bit. As for the other e30 everybody is just gonna have to wait cause I have yet to even take a picture of the car since I bought it in Aug 2010. And everybody knows what a stock BMW 325i looks like. Also if there is anything you guys need from a Canadian car let me know maybe we can work out shipping stuff back and forth.
