Hi Andrew i have used a vacuum bleeder on the slave cylinder to suck the fluid through and have seen the oil come through into the vacuum bottle, also tried the one man style with a tube off the slave cylinder into a bottle of oil and tried to pump it through with the pedal. The master cylinder did run out of oil at one stage and let air into the system. I have bleed heaps of brake and clutch systems previously but this one has me beat so far. Every thing is happening normal as far as bleeding goes so I dont understand why i dont get a pedal Pete

Hi distance from crankshaft mounting face to surface where clutch plate sits on a 1995 M3 with a dual mass fly wheel is just over 42 mm.

Hi Can anyone tell where I can buy the correct socket set and ring spanners that fit those fancy bmw bolts that hold my bell housing onto the block.

Can any of you clever guys out there tell me if there is any advantage in removing the catylic converters and the small front muflers from my E36 M3. or are the existing converters high flow models.

I bought longer bolts for my E36 from 'Davie parts" in Auckland prt # ZNR340 at a cost of $4.50 each. not sure if these are the same as what yoy are after or not. They are 40mm thread, 12mm diameter. 1.5mm pitch with a 17mm head. overall length is 69 mm. hopes this helps.

This is my first go at this type of forum so here goes I have a 95 E36 m3, 3 litre and have been seriously thinking about up grading to the E36, 3.2 evo with the 6 speed box. The questions are, will I notice any big difference power wise, does this model have any short falls and is this a wise move or should I stay with the 3 litre model
