BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 just getting my e36 325CiA converted to a manual 5spd and using a M20 flywheel and clutch , all fitted in but the guys are having problems with the starter , fitted a e30 one but only turned over slowly . which one should i use , they are tiring another now from a e34 525i M20 .. BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 sorted , found that the M20 525i e34 flywheel i had supplied is to thick and was rubbing on the lower part of the sump bolts . lucky they had a another fly wheel from a e30 320i (looks a bit lighter though) and heaps lighter than the original M50 dual mass unit . so hopefully by tommorrow all my drivers cars are going to be manual .
