bravo 35 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 I did it for $100 in a 1.6l lancr in 2002 - my guess is it would be more than that!! Its about 1300km depending on exact departure and arrival point. I imagine youre 520 gets about 9.5l/100km on the open road, but at a conservative 10l/100km thats 130l and at current prices for 96 around $155-1.60 you're looking at $200 round figures, but could do it cheaper if fuel prices drop or you drive better than 10l/100km. savvi 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 well in january i moved from timaru to hamilton with the car loaded used 150 litres of fuel 96octane with booster at the cost of about $220-240= 1500ks with a bit of tiki touring around wellington, ferry ticket $170 thru web saver average speed 120-130kph timaru to dunnas takes 2.5hrs at most, 30litres would get you there. so all up $250-270 will get you there no probs http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=9649&st=
