QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 Cheers, go for it Simon, so much fun to ride and really easy to work on, even though its damn heavy and if you tip it too far one way you have no chance of recovering it, its heaps of fun, and the idle is just heaven haha! hybrid 1043 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 Niiiiiiiice Alex I've still got half an eye out for a boxer too. A nice old R65 or R80 would be mint I helped a mate restore a R65 ... and man the first day we got it together .. took it up the road and gave it the beans. They are just so torquey. Even more so than his k75 (inline 3 DOHC) I would love to get another r65 for myself as a weekend runner ...
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Yeah as bikes go these are as torquey as they come! And the beauty of it is you can open the throttle up fully without fear of the front lifting up

QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 I prefer the RS to the GS, for some reason I think the GS looks a little bit too much like a cross between a big cruiser, speed bike, and the front forks are so long it reminds me of a dirt bike! I would love a 1200RS!

I would love a 1200RS! true the gs looks well weird....but the idea of some "adventure" rides does add to the appeal for me and at 6 3 seat height s not an issue
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2008 Yeah thats true it does offer a wider range of options, you can do much more with them, but still... its kinda funny lookin.. haha
