Andrew 30 Report post Posted April 7, 2007 Hartge offers various stages of tune for both the 335i gas and 330d diesel engines — the former can be boosted to 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, while the latter is pumped up to 270 hp and 436 lb-ft, primarily through modifications to the engine control unit. A stainless steel exhaust system is also available. An adjustable sport suspension lowers ride height and adds stiffer settings. Hartge wheels shod with Z-rated performance tires are offered in sizes up to 20 inches, with run-flat tires available on request. Hartge aero body add-ons include a front lip spoiler and carbon casing for the outside mirrors. Even more goodies are available for the interior, including a three-spoke leather steering wheel, carbon trim, aluminum pedals and a choice of a wood or a leather-covered gearshift knob. What this means to you: Hartge keeps the kitsch to a minimum on its reinterpretation of the new 3 Series cabrio. The Z-rated performance tires and Hartge wheels, in sizes up to 20 inches, are a nice touch. (Photo courtesy of Hartge)
