to sell or not to sell?

cars not really for sale, so i think it's best in this section.

so the story goes: my e30 is sitting at home on our driveway, the builder next door asks my olds if i want to sell it. so I'm faced with a difficult decision, as i have grown rather attached. But the opportunity to upgrade to a 325.

anywho, the question is; what is it worth?

specs:

1990 e30 320i

Diamondschwartz - metalicy black.

120,000kms

full mtech ll kit

e36 mtech steering wheel

Bilstein suspension.

40mm Jamex springs

15" wheels

a manual conversion - not in car.

mint interior

but a lil' rough around the exterior - 17 year old paint.

or is it even worth it?

If the mods you list are all thats been done i reckon you'd be looking at 4-6k

If you ask me....4k maybe....6k no chance

Even with the cosmetic stuff its still only a 320 after all.

Its a good looking car with some very desirable bits on it but 325's with the same mods dont make 6.

Are you prepared to tell us what youve been offered so people can just say 'take it' or 'leave it'

if you happy with 4 door, keep it and as long as you can do work yourself a 325 (or better) swap is worthwhile. if you want two door, sell and get a motorsport, but will cost a fair bit extra

the guy has just asked if i'd sell it. waiting to hear what he's offering. communication is a bit slow, as he's builder, working next to our house, and i'm in dunedin.

i'm still waiting to hear on an offer, as he's been talking to my mum and she's been in wellington since friday and back tuesday. so yea communication slow. but i'm in no rush, as i'm not that keen to sell.

i think the offer would have to quite rediculous for me to sell. becuase of time/money/attachment to the car.

aww the temptation. but would unfortunately be to much stuffing around.

i mean i barely have the time to sell it.

but still waiting on an offer from this guy, mum gets home today.
