No heat

Recommended Posts

Was informed last wednesday, after frosty morning that their was no heat coming out of the heater. Got on line to Real OEM and checked out the lay out for my E39 and went looking.Pulled the heater valve apart and didn't find anything out of place.

Then noticed a couple of odd positioned hose clips I pulled the hose's off. What I found was a plug in each hose which I removed(see image). Replaced the missing coolant ran up the engine. We have heat. why I ask? :wacko:http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r306/allan53/IMG_2153.jpg

Be very careful, this is normally done when you get a leak in your heater, a cheap fix. Would keep an eye on water level or dampness in car?
