(90% sure its that way around) Seems to be a few internet myths about steering racks, with things regarding lock to lock turns, steering ratios, variable racks etc. I'm not exactly 100% on the subject, each time I read something about bmw racks it adds to the confusion. pussytamer 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2007 The Z3 1.9 rack is the quickest of them all, followed by the E36 M3 rack. The Z3 rack bolts straight into the E30 and the E36 need spacers. pussytamer 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2007 Other than I'm no race car driver, but noticed the differance between the two racks,which the Z3 is far more noticable if you are able to come across one.
