Transmission Torque Converter Lockup

Recommended Posts

94 E36 3 Series, M42 motor, 4 speed automatic.

The torque converter wont go into lockup until 100k indicated, which is far too high IMO, plus it creates excess wear on the trans and motor and uses more gas.

Is it possible to adjust the speed that the TC locks up at??

If so, how is it done?

Thanks

How much we talking? And is it a straight bolt out bolt in affair?

It's the gfs car so thats would be a last resort, id rather change the current transmissions lockup speed if possible.
