Andrew 30 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 The last time the 7-Series received a redesign was in 2002, and we all know how that went. So now, when the next-generation 2009 BMW 7-Series rolls around, design is expected to be toned down quite a bit. Sources say that the next-generation BMW 7-Series will have an even more elegant look than ever before. According to these latest renderings the 2009 BMW 7-Series is expected to take design hints from the BMW CS Concept unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. If you remember at the time of its launch, the BMW CS Concept was said to be BMW’s “new definition of design culture.†As you can see from these images, the 2009 BMW 7-Series will receive a large grille as the CS Concept. The rear taillights will also take design hints from those of the CS Concept. BMW will also be introducing a new iDrive and, according to rumors, an eight-speed transmission. The car will make its official debut in 2008 as a 2009 model year. Photo Rendering: 2009 BMW 7-Series Gallery:
