jjs 64 Report post Posted August 4, 2007 Im looking at a 328i 1995 import with a gearbox issue.... When changing from first to second it at times won't do so until high revs (about 5-6). my_e36 43 Report post Posted August 5, 2007 (edited) They do chage at higher rev in cold than in warm, but mine's (97 323i) change at 3000 usually but at around 3500-4000 at most even in sport mode. (why would you use sport mode with a cold engine anyway?) I don't know how bad of a jolt is yours but mine does a little bit when cold as well.
