Instrument cluster stops working while driving .

Hey everyone,

Has any one experienced their instrument cluster malfunctioning while driving.

Well, i have an e32 735il and twice have i experienced the instrument cluster failing while driving and then working normally after switching off then starting the car after a while.

I have done the obvious and tried hitting it but , that only worked when the speed gauge was failing and would eventually work.

Like i said now its been twice that everything stoped. Though the indicator telltale and fog light telltale's seem to work fine .

Help!
