bravo 35 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 1) Don't drive the car - don't even start it (sorry if this is obvious but you'd be suprised how many people pwn themselves doing stupid sh*t like that. 2) Check TM and the local wreckers. 3) If its a nice neat crack and the alloy is in good cond, then it may be repairable. I had my sump welded for $20 and 3 years later it's still leak free. Alloy welding can be tricky and it is important that the metal is clean and the crack has not "star-cracked" at the ends to get a good weld. Take it to your local engineering shop.
