E30_318i 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 Bought an '88 E34 525i yesterday, went and picked it up today after school. Only reason why is because it is manual, but E34s have been me favourite bimmers since i was about 10. It sounds grouse too. So the E30 has gone It was a good first car. E30_318i 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 (edited) Needs a clean edit: this pic is f**ked up. The centre console and steering wheel aren't faded like the pic shows. It must have been the flash on the camera. Edited May 18, 2004 by E30_318i

E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 Good Score. They look awesome with 18's on them. I look forward to seeing it in person. That makes 2 E34 members in WGTN. M20 powered I presume!?!?! Here's a pic of E34-535ti's E34, which is currently off the road (again, drive line issues).
E30_318i 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 Cheers for the replies. Its got just under 200k on it, but full service history, a clean car inside and out. CD player and all the usual extras. Nicest car I've ever driven, certainly better than recent Commodores and Falcons. I think they were classed as the best car in the world back in their day, cannot see why not. Yeah its M20. Here's a pic of E34-535ti's E34, which is currently off the road (again, drive line issues). Looks like a mint car, don't think I've seen it around though. E34-535ti 5 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 (edited) Cool, go E34s Did you get it from the car yard next to the bed place in the Hutt?? Looks like a mint car, don't think I've seen it around though. Thats because in the last few months its been on the road for a total of about 73 seconds, the rest of the times it's been up on (and still is...) axle stands. If you need to know anything about your E34 I know pretty much every nut and bloody bolt on them! (although my specialist subject is manual 535sports not 525s) E30-323ti - LOL it makes Uber 3 look so small!! damn aircraft carrier. I can't believe how modern the e34 is - such a great car for an old car. Thanks. IMO, E34s look their best in darker coulours, but I couldn't let this opportunity go by, but I reckon white is alright. As for how modern it is for an old car, I couldn't believe the way it rides, handles and steers when compared to my dads 95 Maxima and 99 Commodore. Bloody superior. Gas prices don't concern me anymore, cos its sooooo satisfiying to drive
