Andrew 30 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 So i've got hub studs for my race car - what locktite should I use when I chuck them on in there?
conrod 1 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 262 is the loctite stud fix. you could even put the 601 bearing fix in there- they will never fall out then! If you ever need to remove them, heat them up with a heat gun, heat fu@ks the loctite
Mike 1 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 heat fu@ks the loctite Is this true for most loctite stuff? what sort of temps we talking here? Also, how much difference between using stud locker (262) or just the normal nut locker (213?) in terms of strength? ie is it a no-no to use one instead of the other?
