Advokit 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Hi just thought I would intro myself. My ride is a 1997 E36 318 Sedan, 17s and Leather int. Tinted but yet to be lowered. Actually how bad can I expect me tyres to get chewed due to camber if I drop it? Oh and Hi Homy you know me, im Dan N's PC Co workmate sup?
Grant 4 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 How far do you intend dropping it? If you don't drop it too far, camber should be fine. Just drop it properly, otherwise your ride quality will suffer. Blair (Napier E36) is probably your best bet here, he has a E36 325i, that is pretty low. Oh yeah, welcome to the site, good to have more Mooloo representation. Cheers
Homy.D.Clown 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 sup man.. just trying to think who you are.. you'll know *sic too...hes got dans old CRX.....(incase you didnt know) yeah ive dropped mine pretty low...and not too bad on camber wear over the past year..still got the same tyres on... being a 318 should be better on tyre wear...you'll be a bit lighter than me... i suggest superlow springs...they give you nice drop without too many bottoming out issues....though sometimes i still scrape the floor a tad... heres unlowered on 17" vs lowered on 18"

Guest Spargo Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Welcome to the site! I've got M-tec springs, and i scrape all the damn time on 15"s. I'll probably go for some higher eibachs pretty soon.
Dnz 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2004 Be sure to check out your daily routine with your car - for example the carpark i go to everyday would make me scrape if i didnt take the corners extra wide (and i have stock sport suspension)
