Bmw e30 320i Coupe broken diff

hi there have trouble with my diff on my 320i manual e30, a clunking noise sometimes when im driving and am worried bout driving it now.. sometime lose power to one wheel. it has a lsd. what could it be? any help would be much appreciated thanks!

easy to swap over . you can get your lsd unit fitted to a std diff.

how much can i expect to pay all up including labour? dont really have a place to do it myself.

1-2 hours labour to remove and refit . about $200 to swap lsd clutch over .

thanks. im in christchurch but will try and get some quotes for labour. how much are you selling your diff for? is it a lsd?

na , just std have a couple of ratios 4.43 , 3.64 and one other i havn't checked , prob 3.9 or 4.1 all small case .
