Guest Andrew Report post Posted June 2, 2004 Loving the interior - still not a big fan of compacts but that one does look OK with all the kit and sweet wheels etc. Nice color also. 3rd e46 on bimmersport.

DavidNZ 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 Hey mate - looks good. I saw it outside of Commerce the other day and wondered if it was yours! Congrats. Hopefully we'll bump into each other (again) - i'm curious about the quality of the stereo. Congrats again. Making me want to give up my own E36 318i! Guest Speedye30 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 Yes, pic 4 is very nice. Crop it a bit and make a wallpaper! (Hey its only new once...) I always liked the compacts, and your one looks very sharp. What have they told you to do regarding running in? Interior looks great too.
aliluya 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 The stereo is nice ... thats actually my radar detector, and i have a G-tech sitting here at home. It's my dad that told me pretty much keep it under 3000rpm and under 80km for the first 5000KMS. he used to be a mechanic. There is no M3 mirrors for this compact. Thanks for the great replys ... The car is acutally dirty at the moment .. i might wash it in the weekend and take some more photo's ...

aliluya 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 I got told by some one that they aren't releasing these compacts in USA.. i could be wrong tho ..
shadowninja 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 No I don't think USA gets the compacts, their entry model is the 325i Sedan. They also get xi 3-series models that are 4WD.

The run in period for the motor is very short - you really need to thrash them a little - big full throttle pulls and big slow downs to seat the piston rings properly. Dnz 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 Drive down through NZ top to bottom, and visit all the Bimmersport members. That should do.
