hybrid 1043 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Depends on the replica but there are 3 fiberglass kitted 325i coupes floating around NZ .. one red, one white and a black one. Pretty easy to tell as they dont look quite right. They have cropped up on trademe a couple of times. Easy ways to tell .. open the engine bay and check if it has a s14 motor. have a look under neather the bumpers and feel if its fiberglass. M3's were only made in left hand drive dispite the 'mythical' black one that was converted to right hand drive at wayne gartner racing to test the aussie market back in the late 80's (claimed to be the only right hand drive m3 bmw ever made ) there are many other ways including m3's are 5lug and have different front struts. but the easiest way is to get the last 7 digits of the chassis number and enter it in here. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do or http://www.bmwfans.info Will tell you pretty quick what BMW know it to be.
