single headlight e21's

Recommended Posts

I didn't know they made single headlight e21's like this one on trademe.

Anyone know the differences between this on and the twin headlight models? Maybe as this is a 316? Maybe the 320 and 323's are the twin headlight models??

Don't do it G-man, they like to find hedges backwards.

Single headlight system uses a 6 inch lens, and the twin uses 5 1/4 inch ones.

Via some searching:

At the E21's release, three models were available: with 316 (1.6 litre), 318 (1.8 litre) and 320 (2.0 litre) versions of the BMW M10 four cylinder engine. To draw clear visual distinction within the new model series, the 320 models came with dual headlights, while the 316 and 318 had single round headlights.

Nah, don't want to buy one (although have test driven that black one on the gold weaves and liked it, and have a thing for a henna 320 that I see up here).

Was just wondering as notied the difference for the first time.

Cheers, thought it must be something like that.

I was talking to chris about this on Sunday.I thought it looked pretty cool and if I had the money (which I was really close to getting a loan on) I would buy it and make it my project. I am still really considering it.
