Braeden320 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2007 (edited) Hey All, My power steering pump is noisy and gives very little assitance at low revs, not to bad when it has revs tho There is also small peices of metal in the oil. Would be the power steering pump on its way out? The car is a 1998 Bmw E36 320i M-Optioned(not that it makes a difference to the engine) Appriciate any help, if it is the pump also does anyone have a good second hand one or is new the way to go? Cheers Braeden Edited November 16, 2007 by braeden.
nz320i 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2007 pieces of metal in oil could be the pump on its way out mate, happened to me a while back. thats getting metal through the steering rack too so you should probably fix it sooner rather than later.
