madandy 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2007 Welcome Scott. Nice wheels mate and how you like that engine? I've not long ago bought my first BMW too - a 98 E36 328i 5spd and have had nothing but good times from her...
nz 540I 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2007 Thanks for the warm welcome. The engine is treating me pretty well, ive spent a bit of time with these motors so hopefully if i treat it right it will treat me right. Was quite lucky to get hold of some genuine m5 wheels, had copys on it when i purchased it but didnt quite look right.Looks like you have a nice gtr in the shed, spent a little time working on them too. E34 M5 and E36 M3 easily, and close to E39 M5 and E46 M3 territory

Guest nz540I Report post Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) Just got the car back from McMillans and the paint shop on thursday, its looking awesome now! It drives and handles well enough. It could do with some stiffer rate set of springs and a few other mods, but the fact i like best is it drives well on the open road.Great just to get in and cruise on a sunny day! The budget you have does open up a few more options,I'd test drive a few different vehicles eg e36 and e46 330i and ci,m3 and e34 540is and e39 530,540 and m5 and see which vehicle you prefer and can live with on a daily basis.
