perf 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Ok We have a 96 318IS (m-sport) auto sedan. Its been overheating, we neglected it stupidly and now the headgasket has blown. Page european have advised we probably wont get change out of $3000 for the work to be done, and there is a good chance the engine is naffed anyway because thats how they go with these. I dont know, I know RX7s and MR2s but these BMWs are as foreign as the car to me. So we are looking for a good condition M44 engine, the last 7 digits of our VIN are AS75446.
