Mechanical Insurance

I have been told by my mechanic to avoid Lumley & Protecta and go for Autosure however Autosure are only available on cars sold through certain dealers and same with Motorplus.

I could go for AA (have to get AA Inspection first) or Orbit (through the dealer I bought from). Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have spent about $2000 on 528i since June 07 on 528i so was thinking I should take advantage of mechanical insurance as the same problem will occur on the 328ci. (Dashboard pixel display, thermostat housing, crankshaft sensor)

$1050 including GST for three year period with $150 Excess

$1000 $250 Excess

We would need to inspect the vehicle first ( pre-purchase inspection )

$125 including GST for members

$150 retail
