Guest Andrew Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Hey u guys, were 325iX's ever imported here? just curious... they sound a bit of allrite..... must have pretty good handling or something! No - probably worse handling than a normal 325.. heavier = slower.. AWD = more drivetrain loss.. super high springs = ugly..
bmwsparkle 3 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 the super high springs could be fixed easy enough.. i think one would be cool
nath 134 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 325i manual: 0- 100 in 8.3, 325ix manual, 0-100 in 9.0 secs, so its not toooo much slower,
Marcel 323Ti 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 A friend of my uses a 325iX as a trackdaycar. At the Nurburgring he's pretty fast but not a match for a normal 325i. At a wet track the iX behaves very impressive and allows u to push it very hard. Halfway the corner u can accelerate very nice with no sign of under and oversteer. I had the same experience with a Audi S3 quattro wich was incredibly quik at a wet track, but a bit disappointed at a dry circuit. Here in Noordwijk (close to Amsterdam) lives a guy who has a very nice zilver coloured 325iX Touring. It's looks very nice in the original condition.
