QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2008 (edited) Im changing my clutch at the mo, and was removing starter motor and noticed this hose hanging down, it connects (at one end) to something near the dizzy, and appears to be a vacuum hose of some sort, any ideas where it would have come from? pre-facelift e30 320i. (hose sorrounded in blue) Cheers all, Alex. edit: uploaded forgotten pic,. Edited February 7, 2008 by QuickSilver
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted February 7, 2008 there are 2 vacuum hoses attached to the dizzy, they both connect one to either side of the throttle body.m look for a nipple on the side of the throttle body without a hose on it.
will 169 Report post Posted February 7, 2008 Hose looks quite big diameter but difficult to make out in your pic. What internal diameter approx is it? Maybe a better pic would help.. Will
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2008 (edited) Thanks guys, sorry about the pic, quite cramped under the car and took it in a rush, hose is about 2 mm (quite small) in diameter, sounds like it could be what ollie suggested, am at work at the moment so will have to wait till tomorrow to check, anything else it could be?
