hi there people we're just wanting to organize a poll to determine a paint scheme to go on to our car

if there is anybody out there that could help that would be much appreciated

what is wrong with the colour it shows signs of oxidation to the roof and boot and also the clear coat is fading on certain panels

as the original poster I think you are the nly one who can add a poll to this thread,,,,If this was a poll i would vote for the silver/blue metallic colour , E28 one of the few BMWs to suit lighter colours IMHO...

when you first ade the pot there i a line immediately above the main text box with"manage poll options for this post...."or something like that. You may be able to go in and edt your original post and go from there...you will give us some choices or is that what you want the help with?

Keep it silver, and spend the money on a Cardinal red leather interior. Would look tits with the silver coachwork.

Oh, and Cardinal is a dark red, not that naff 'Holden Racing Team themed Bordello' red. Just in case someone doubted my exceptional taste for a minute there.

I'd keep it the original colour and forget about lowering/kits etc.... it's a 520i, not a performance machine... I think it would look best if you could upgrade it to executive spec (leather etc), and leave it at that.

I'm interested to see what you do with the car, as my grandmother is selling my father her '83 528i tourist delivery car and we're looking at restoring it.

Mr Dawg, I vote you paint it the colour it is now. The e28 is one car that I believe suits lighter colours and I wouldve thought youd have less trouble respraying it the same colour, not that I know anything about it.

Zinnoberrot e28....sigh

hi there ppl i have come up with a colour that i think that would be a nice colour a metallic steel blue with a purple hue pearl .

what are other peoples thoughts about the colour ?

im thinking of the thoughts that users came up with by not going to any dark colours but keeping it light and giving the style lines of a old skool BMW
