e30 325i BTB Exhaust Manifold

Recommended Posts

Is any one keen on a performance exhaust manifold for their e30 325i from BTB exhausts in the UK. They have offered a discount if more than one set ordered as need to manufacture to order (8-10 weeks). They're not cheap at $750 pounds less 17.5% VAT, plud freight (plus further discount if more than one), but are the business as have been developed on their test bed over a few years.

Have just got a price list confirmed from BTB.

Stainless Steel 6-2 manifold

1 off: 752 pounds

2 - 5: 430 pounds (note hugh discount when ordering more than one set)

6 - 9: 376.

Stainless Down pipe 2-1

1 off: 288 pounds

2 - 5: 164 pounds

6 - 9: 144 pounds

They are also looking a cost effective freight package

Given the current exchange rate, makes them look OK cost wise, depending on freight. Estimated at about 300 pounds for 2 sets.

Let me know if your keen and I'll can make multiple orders. I'm in Weelington so you'll need to factor in freight around NZ.

Cheers,

Murray

Hi Murray, do they have to be the same type to get the discount, might be interested in the E30 335 job if discount applies? Might have to talk to Glenn, Botanymotorworks, he may be interested as well.

Hello,

Using a www.xe.com website i worked out the NZ$ cost

752 = $1,834.75

430 = $1,049.00

376 = $917.00

288 = $702.70

164 = $400.00

144 = $351.30

150 = $365.90 (frieght per set)

So if you get the 6 sets everyone would pay $1634.20. I am very interested. It wont be for a race car but will still improve the performance and i would be able to use the rest of the existing exhaust system?

Cheers

Just had BTM confirm freight costs for 2 sets of headers of 210 pounds delivered to Wellington.

Result means that for 2- 5 sets they will cost approx $1,650 NZD each including 10% duty and 12.5 % GST

for over 6 sets price each approx 1,472 NZD each.

Let me know who's keen.

Cheers,

Murray
