jjs 64 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 Im after an entertainment book for Auckland (the ones with restaurant discount vouchers). Previously sourced Wellington ones through a family friend. You can't buy them from their website, only people fundraising. Can anyone here put me in touch with a seller?

my_e36 43 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 The book is mainly for fund raising, so usually schools, sports club, etc... will have them.

stolen 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 From memory the Entertainment book makers are on New North Rd (right at the start of it in Eden Terrace). On the left when your going away from town. They should sell them there?
martyyn 2 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 I cant believe someone actually wants one ! (thats a good thing before I get hate pm's) Ive been trying to flog them for my daughters school and I just laughed at. Ive saved hundreds of dollars using them and yet people just trot out the same old excuses about not needing one, never going out for dinner, not having it in the car on the off chance they went out. Even just a couple of pizzas a year covers the cost of it in the first place.
Yuen 16 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 That's an interesting comment Martyn. I've been buying them for years and everyone else I know acknowledges that they're a good 'investment'. Why would anyone NOT want one? You can recoup the cost of the book with the cost of a couple of meals or movies.
tire 10 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 We always buy them and always they get lost, only to be found later in the back of some drawer while you're looking for that old address book. You then put it somewhere obvious for the next time but it falls behind the shelf or whatever and the cycle repeats..

I wouldn't say that we eat out to much either. To the OP, if you are still struggling, PM me - a friend is selling them as a fundraiser for Irish Dancing, I can put you in contact if it helps.
