petone 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 So a H22A would be in a 2.2 dohc v-tec prelude wouldn't it? So how come my mates M20B25 which has been put in a 320i in the most bodgy conversion possible (its even running Jetronic) bet my other mates 92' Prelude? (Both cars are 5spd man) And... I would say the prelude is the better driver.
Gus 5 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 preludes are very heavy and FWD two kinds of gayness
petone 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 Yeah the race was lost at the start. 2 problems for prelude are grip (even though it had 205 tires while 325i had 195) and power delivery. However once the prelude was moving it evened up. Still, honda boy shut up
*sic 1 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 preludes are very heavy and FWD two kinds of gayness word.2.2 in a crx skools. mass weight problems though, least its on the front wheels strong for honda done one, and a s2000 engine in a crx, and it skools
Guest Spargo Report post Posted July 1, 2004 s2000 engine in a crx, and it skools Longitudinal to transverse? Why bother?
shadowninja 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 Sic its pretty sad if the best rebuttal you can offer is to edit my post. How gay is that??? If I wanted to race I would have kept my 200SX & 'skooled' you well & good. :thumb: Owning a BMW isn't about drag racing, its about quality & class. Oh... and that friend of my wife's with the red CRX that you 'pounded' ... well he's male so perhaps the original direction of my post holds more true than I thought! As to Honda Preludes, the last one I test-drove seemed like a nice cruiser, but would need some serious work to bring it into a performance vehicle class. The suspension needs some tightening, lose about 200kg of body weight, oh and get the rear wheels to work.
*sic 1 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 Longitudinal to transverse? Why bother? cause you would have an s2000 engine in a dirty ol crx!real wheel conversion would be even better
