Get it checked by an authorised dealer or an independant BMW specialist. People who work on these cars will have a better understanding of what to look for, and what goes wrong. The old saying "buyer beware" be very aware, and dont take things on face value. Buy a warranty from them, it is one of the best and underwritten by Vero...no excess would apply for that vehicle.
