OLLIE 26 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 fuel spilling in front of right rear wheel... check fuel level sender is sealing onto tank properly, should be a rubber o ring there. check breather hoses etc for leaks. check filler pipe and hoses for leaks. as for the car running rich, I doubt it has anything to do with the tank being full or not. It's difficult to diagnose because it could be a number of things. get it on the lambda meter and tune your air fuel mixture, if you can't get it right doing that then something else is causing it to run rich, a miss? valve clearances? spark plugs? faulty injectors? Boost Junky 1 Report post Posted March 17, 2008 Oh yea ive replaced the air flow meter already no change fuel spilling in front of right rear wheel... check fuel level sender is sealing onto tank properly, should be a rubber o ring there. check breather hoses etc for leaks. check filler pipe and hoses for leaks. as for the car running rich, I doubt it has anything to do with the tank being full or not. Yea but this overfueling problem only happens when i put a generouse amount of fuel in the tank =S I can see there is a slight leak of fuel where the filler hose goes into the tank will this cause the car to run bad?
