lidistick 70 Report post Posted March 15, 2008 Ok, since I've started using a beater for a daily, the BMW has been having issues with starting. Called the AA guy out today and checked car as it refused to start and battery was flat. Gave it a quick check while he was there and with everything switched off, I had a 1.8A current draw. No light bulbs, only alarm activated and it was doing that. He reckons it is either one of my amplifiers doing it but wasn't sure. Now who do I go to to get this sorted? lidistick 70 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 its a dynatron and professionally installed. The AA mechanic seem to think that if an alarm drew 1.8A then its faulty as it should not draw that much. Most likely was one of the amplifiers.
