E30 headunit trouble

Recommended Posts

Looking directly at the front of the headunit there are 2 little panels on each side about halfway up. Use a little screw driver to open them up. Behind them there are 2 allen screws, undo these then pull your head unit out. Make sure you insert the allen key all the way in or you could strip the screw head. I assume you have the standard e30 antitheft headunit.

failing that use brute force and ignorance.

Well you could if you wanted to on your car. I know i wouldn't on mine. Youl'd be kicking yourself forever if you broke part of the dash.
